Responsible for ensuring the company’s operational environmental compliance through permit management, preparation of technical studies, monitoring of protected areas, and implementation of sustainable practices, thereby guaranteeing adherence to current environmental legislation and preservation of natural resources. * Conduct environmental licensing processes with competent authorities, ensuring acquisition and renewal of permits and water resource use authorizations; * Prepare environmental studies, technical opinions, and reports required by legislation and certifications (e.g., RAS, RCA, PCA, PRAD, EIA/RIMA); * Monitor projects for recovery of degraded areas and reforestation or ecological restoration plans; * Monitor fauna and flora, contributing technical reports and fulfilling environmental conditions; * Conduct inspections of dams, hydraulic structures, and water intake points, verifying environmental safety and legal water use; * Map land use and occupation using geoprocessing software (e.g., ArcGIS) and support remote sensing analysis; * Assess and propose mitigation measures for environmental impacts identified in studies or during monitoring of company activities; * Plan, implement, and monitor solid waste management, focusing on reduction, reuse, and proper disposal in accordance with the National Solid Waste Policy (PNRS) and local regulations; * Support environmental audits, certification processes, and related corrective actions; * Operate the company vehicle when necessary to carry out job-related activities.
