This person will be responsible for operating water tanker trucks to support forestry activities while ensuring equipment conservation and maintenance. **Position: Heavy Vehicle Driver** **Area of Operation: Forestry Coordination** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Operate light vehicles in compliance with the company’s safety regulations while performing duties across Veracel’s operational areas; * Operate the water tanker truck to transport water and/or inputs for forestry activities, supplying field teams in accordance with the company’s safety procedures; * Dose products according to work orders to ensure compliance with technical recommendations provided by the Research Department; * Assist in tire replacement following safety guidelines to enhance operational efficiency; * Inspect vehicles and equipment prior to routine activities to ensure safety and accuracy during task execution; * Assemble/disassemble living quarters as required by NR 31 regulations to ensure team well-being and environmental protection; * Perform tasks at heights above 2 meters, adhering to safety recommendations to assist in machine refueling and organize tools and inputs used in operations; * Occasionally arrange for replacement or acquisition of equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and materials used in area operational routines; * Conduct inspections and adjustments for preventive and corrective maintenance on the water tanker truck and associated equipment, complying with safety standards to maximize mechanical availability; * Operate light and heavy vehicles (water tanker truck) in accordance with safety regulations to support firefighting brigades in controlling forest fires; * Perform road dampening using the water tanker truck to address environmental and social concerns; * Carry out production and quality controls, recording data to feed operational performance indicators; * Conduct daily safety talks (DDS) in the field before starting activities to promote a safety culture. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What We Expect From You:** * Completed elementary education; * Valid Brazilian driver’s license category “C” or higher; * Experience operating heavy vehicles; * Experience driving on unpaved roads; * Knowledge of safe driving practices; * Knowledge of safety regulations; * Proactivity; * Organization and planning skills; * Self-discipline; * Interpersonal skills. **Note: Submission of official certification for each course listed above is mandatory.** **Preferred Qualifications:** * MOOP training course; * Completed high school education; * Familiarity with the region; **Additional Information** **Benefits** Medical assistance Dental assistance Christmas basket Payroll-deductible loans Workplace gymnastics Private pension plan Variable compensation program On-site cafeteria Life insurance Meal vouchers Gympass We are Veracel Celulose.
