If you identify with our purpose, let’s imagine and engineer that future—together? **Responsibilities and Duties** **Summary Description:** Operationalize procurement of services, consumables, tools, and other items to meet identified demands, evaluating quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms, aiming to achieve established goals. **Detailed Description:** * Support identification of potential suppliers of inputs, consumables, maintenance materials, equipment, parts, or services for Company requirements, enabling subsequent internal recommendation for participation in competitive bidding. * Conduct quotations and procurement of technical materials, inputs, and services, supporting the technical evaluation process when necessary, performing relevant negotiations (price, delivery timeline, freight, quality, etc.), comparing against the established budget, aiming to meet project and Company needs regarding cost, timeline, and value-added outcomes, while adhering to defined procurement procedures and policies. * Support departments in developing technical scopes for service procurement or technical specifications when required; participate in meetings and/or other interactions to facilitate and ensure accuracy in achieving expected results related to timeline, cost, quality, and delivery. * Support procurement and contracting processes—including contract termination and amendments—according to models defined by Legal, or implementing previously validated modifications, ensuring compliance with contract management procedures, performing purchase follow-up and navigating authorization hierarchies for release, in accordance with Company regulations and procedures. * Conduct market research to identify and develop new suppliers of products and services to compete with existing ones, aiming to reduce costs without compromising quality relative to currently used products. * Issue purchase orders upon approval, executing the administrative workflow prescribed in the process and finalizing their transmission to the supplier. * Jointly validate, with material and service requesters, supplier qualification and scope of services to be contracted. * Perform delivery follow-up and intervene as needed to ensure compliance with agreed contractual clauses. * Register suppliers in the system, collecting information on technical, tax, labor, safety, and compliance evaluations, performing basic analysis and forwarding findings to responsible departments for critical topics. * Register materials according to internal procedures to ensure process accuracy. * Carry out assigned activities per received planning, under supervision and/or support from senior technical professionals or immediate managers—even for occasional guidance or problem resolution. Does not yet demonstrate full proficiency across all processes, operations, or equipment within the area or full productivity level. * Support senior professionals in area-specific processes, leveraging their experience for self-development. * Participate in implementation of departmental work plans and procedures, executing and monitoring necessary technical actions to achieve established objectives and targets. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Basic Requirements:** * Technical education in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with experience in materials control at construction sites. * 5+ years of experience in materials control for industrial projects. * Materials control and inventory management in industrial projects. * Knowledge of inventory management tools (ERP, SAP). * Skills in quality control and material verification. * Familiarity with safety standards for material handling. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Organizational skills and attention to detail. * Communication skills to report inventory status. * Ability to work collaboratively in teams. * Proactivity in resolving logistical issues. **Additional Information** **Position Characteristics:** * Employment Type: Regular Office * Work Location: Simões Filho \- BA * Working Hours: 44 hours/week **Benefits Included in This Position:** * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Transportation Allowance * Meal Allowance * Gympass Partnership Discounts and partnerships with various educational institutions * At Timenow, we believe in the power of ideas—and even more so, in the ability to turn them into reality.
