Here, you can discover new challenges, new horizons, new goals—and even more about yourself! **Responsibilities and Duties** **WHAT WILL YOU DO?** * Respond to emergencies in the factory area (fire, chemical spills, flooding, explosions, etc.) through isolation, suppression, application, or guidance on required techniques and procedures, according to the nature of the incident. * Support victims of accidents in general, taking necessary measures to preserve life and ensure the safety of those involved. * Support maintenance and operations teams during scheduled factory shutdowns and execution of tasks involving accident or fire risks. * Inspect fire prevention and emergency response equipment, as well as operate and manage their systems. * Perform maintenance of fire prevention and emergency response equipment, inspecting fire hydrants, extinguishers, fire hoses, emergency kits, and similar items—checking pressure gauges and overall condition—to ensure proper functionality and compliance with legal requirements. * Prepare reports on emergency response/incidents and shift activities. * Inspect and prepare reports on the status of the entire fire-fighting hydraulic network. * Support training programs on emergency prevention and response for the Emergency Brigade. * Conduct environmental assessment for flammable gases using detection devices. * Authorize and/or supervise hot work or spark-producing operations. * Support containment and/or absorption of chemical spills. * Monitor removal of fire-related waste, verifying re-ignition risks. * Inspect areas to identify hazards and recommend corrective and/or preventive measures. * Inspect fire pumps in pump houses. * Inspect emergency generators and emergency lighting systems. * Capture venomous and domestic animals. * Inspect sprinkler systems, respiratory protection equipment (self-contained), fire doors, victim removal stretchers, emergency showers and eyewash stations, wind condition visual indicators (wind socks), and control valves. * Authorize critical tasks such as working at heights, confined space entry, hot work, and radiography, performing environmental and specific assessments per schedule and activity. * Monitor aircraft landings and takeoffs, applying necessary preventive measures. * Apply Safety Management System tools, such as audits, inspections, task analyses, and behavioral approaches. * Prepare reports on PAE occurrence analyses, incidents, and the Master Line Program. * Record deviations and incidents in Suzano’s management system. * Conduct radiometric surveys on installed sources. * Know and implement SIG – Integrated Management System procedures and standards. * Set an example of safe behavior, encouraging the team to practice active and responsible care. * Promote strict adherence to safety procedures and integration of prevention into daily routines. * Encourage appropriate use of PPE and exercise of the right to refuse work in cases of imminent serious risk, fostering proposal of risk control solutions. * Ensure effective communication of incidents and implementation of necessary corrective actions. **Requirements and Qualifications** **WHO INSPIRES US?** * Someone who believes in our values; * Proactive; * Analytical mindset; * Proposes ideas and solutions. **WHAT DOES SUZANO EXPECT FROM YOU?** * Availability to work on a rotating 6x4 schedule; * Certification as a Civil Firefighter; * Availability to work at the Aracruz factory; * Completed elementary education. **Additional Information** **WE OFFER MUCH MORE THAN JUST PAPER IN YOUR LIFE!** Healthcare: Medical and Dental Plans, and Life Insurance; Meal Voucher or Cafeteria, Grocery Allowance (VA), and an additional VA at year-end; We understand fixed income is important—but beyond that, we offer extra income via our Annual Variable Compensation Program; For your future planning, we provide private pension; We practice home office for corporate roles, flexible hours, and a casual dress code; To generate and share value, we offer E-learning courses and training on our digital platform, UniverSuzano; At Suzano, something is only good for us if it is good for the world!
