Description

Job Summary: Lead infrastructure projects, including network capacity planning, VM migrations, and storage/high availability deployments, and manage complex IT environments. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership in network infrastructure, virtualization, and storage projects 2. Expertise in automation, security, backup/DR, and system optimization 3. Collaboration in agile squads and management of Service Desk N2/N3 Lead infrastructure projects: network capacity planning, VM migrations, and storage/high availability deployments. * Design advanced network architectures (L2/L3 segmentation, SD\-WAN basics, QoS, BGP/OSPF on Cisco/Dell). * Manage enterprise VMware vSphere environments (vMotion, HA/DRS, vSAN, FC/iSCSI storage integration). * Automate infrastructure operations using Ansible, Terraform, or advanced Python/Bash scripts (simple CI/CD pipelines). * Configure and optimize enterprise firewalls/VPNs (Sophos, Fortinet: IPSec/SSLVPN, Zero Trust policies). * Implement robust backup/DR solutions (Veeam hardened repository, offsite replication, RTO/RPO testing). * Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for Linux/Windows servers (kernel tuning, ZFS/LVM). * Integrate hybrid cloud (Azure Stack/AWS Outposts) with on\-premise infrastructure. * Develop advanced dashboards (Grafana \+ Zabbix/Prometheus) with predictive alerts and SLOs. * Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for N2/N3 incidents, proposing preventive improvements and automations. * Manage Service Desk N2/N3: technical resolution, mentoring juniors, and reducing recurring tickets. * Draft RFPs for hardware/infrastructure procurement and negotiate with vendors. * Ensure compliance (LGPD/SOC2 basics) in infrastructure configurations and audit documentation. * Collaborate in agile squads for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) deliveries. 3\+ years in IT infrastructure, with hands\-on experience in enterprise networking (VLAN trunking, OSPF, L7 firewalls). * VMware vSphere 7\+ expertise (clusters, NSX basics) OR equivalent Hyper\-V. * Advanced Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS: SELinux, systemd, basic container knowledge with Docker). * Scripting/automation (Bash/Python/PowerShell: 100\+ lines, loops, APIs). * Enterprise Veeam/Acronis experience (proxies, deduplication, encryption). * Firewall knowledge (Sophos/Fortinet: HA, WAF, threat intelligence). * Observability tools (Zabbix/Grafana: custom templates, macros). * ServiceNow/Jira Service Management (customized workflows). Requirements and Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) * Certifications: VCP\-DCV, CCNP, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect Associate. * Hybrid cloud experience (Azure Arc, VMware on AWS). * Orchestration (Ansible Tower, Terraform Cloud). * Oracle/SQL database (RAC basics, RMAN backups). * NOC/SRE mindset (SLOs, error budgets). * Kubernetes basics for infrastructure workloads.
