RESPONSIBILITIES: * Plan, structure, and implement the construction site’s environmental management system, ensuring compliance with current environmental legislation, environmental permits, and contractual requirements. * Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental conditions stipulated in permits, preparing technical reports and evidence for environmental agencies. * Develop, implement, and monitor environmental programs and plans for the construction site. * Identify and assess environmental aspects and impacts associated with construction activities, defining control and mitigation measures. * Monitor and inspect field activities, ensuring proper implementation of environmental measures, signage, containment structures, protected areas, and sound environmental practices. * Manage segregation, storage, transportation, and final disposal of solid and hazardous waste, ensuring regulatory compliance and traceability. * Monitor and control impacts related to soil, water, fauna, flora, atmospheric emissions, noise, and effluents, proposing corrective actions when necessary. * Monitor and advise contracted and subcontracted companies regarding environmental requirements, environmental integration, and adherence to construction site procedures. * Plan and conduct training sessions, daily safety talks (DDS) on environmental topics, and awareness campaigns to promote environmental education at construction sites. * Prepare technical reports, environmental performance indicators, audit evidence, and reports for construction site management, clients, and environmental agencies. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering; * Active registration with CREA; * Experience in environmental management of construction projects and interaction with environmental agencies; * Experience in solar or wind farm construction projects; * Willingness to travel.
