Boiler Operator responsible for maintaining safe and efficient boiler operation, monitoring and correcting abnormalities.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Uphold the company’s mission, vision, and values, and comply with all established policies, standards, and procedures—such as environmental procedures, food safety, occupational safety, Safe Behavior Program, Integrated Management System (IMS) Policy, proper conservation and use of assets, and Femsa’s corporate image. Additionally, ensure rational use of all forms of electrical energy and fuels. Comply with the Integrated Management System Policy and applicable requirements related to the Energy Management System.
* Calibrate the boiler before igniting the furnace;
* Ignite and maintain the furnace flame;
* Perform bottom blowdown to remove water residues;
* Perform gauge glass blowdown;
* Start and stop the exhaust fan to maintain the necessary pressure for consumption without explosion risk;
* Send water samples to the laboratory for analysis and follow recommendations for correction;
* Do not leave the boiler control area under your responsibility while the boiler is in operation.
* Frequently monitor water level, pressure gauges (steam, atomization, air, oil and/or gas), thermometers (oil and chimney), and other instrumentation to detect potential abnormalities.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
Education: Completed High School; Completed Technical Education. Boiler Operator training course.
