Opportunity for continuous professional development and participation in training programs Work as a **Speech-Language Pathologist** at Casa TEA Unimed Porto Alegre, as part of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for individual and group patient care, participating in clinical case discussions, auditing and critically reviewing processes, developing and updating technical protocols for activities, and performing all other duties inherent to the position. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Individual Clinical Care:** * Conduct sessions focused on socioemotional and behavioral development. * Work on language and communication skills linked to the child/adolescent’s behavioral development. * Apply evidence-based approaches and techniques. **Phonological and Behavioral Assessment** * Perform initial and periodic assessments to identify needs, strengths, and clinical progress. * Administer standardized instruments and relevant functional observations for ASD. * Prepare technical reports and feedback for caregivers. **Development and Monitoring of the Individualized Therapeutic Plan (ITP)** * Develop ITPs aligned with the child/adolescent’s needs. * Define objectives, goals, and intervention strategies. * Review and update the plan according to therapeutic progress. **Clinical Record Keeping and Technical Documentation** * Record session information in the patient’s medical record. * Ensure compliance with the profession’s ethical and legal guidelines. * Issue reports whenever necessary. **Collaboration within a Multidisciplinary Team** * Participate in alignment meetings with other professionals (e.g., physicians, psychologists, occupational therapists, psychopedagogists). * Share clinical observations and contribute to interdisciplinary planning. * Collaborate in designing integrated strategies for global development. **Guidance for Parents and Family Members** * Provide active listening, guidance, and direction regarding behavioral management in the home environment. * Promote generalization of skills practiced during sessions. * Deliver feedback on the child’s progress. **Management of Challenging Behaviors** * Apply positive and safe strategies to handle crisis situations or challenging behaviors. * Conduct functional behavior analysis when required. * Ensure a welcoming, structured, and safe environment. **Participation in Training Programs and Continuous Development** * Attend periodic internal training sessions. * Stay updated on evidence-based practices specific to ASD. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education Required for This Position:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology. * Active registration with CREFONO. **Qualifications:** * Experience or specialization in ASD, Child Development, Behavior Analysis, or related fields. * Knowledge of evidence-based practices applied to ASD is desirable. **Additional Information** **We are a team passionate about caring for people — and we do it with purpose, dedication, and sparkle in our eyes!** We are ranked as the **2nd best healthcare company in the GPTW ranking and the 5th best company to work for in Rio Grande do Sul!** **And more:** this year, we achieved the **45th position in the GPTW BRAZIL Ranking!** All of this reflects an exceptional workplace culture built by people who believe in what they do! **Join us in achieving even greater milestones!** PROUD TO BE GPTW RS, BRAZIL AND HEALTHCARE!
