Job Summary: Responsible for analyzing projects and implementing safety measures to reduce workplace accident risks, coordinating safety activities and ensuring compliance with regulations. We invested in filtering 100% of generated tailings followed by dry stacking. Additionally, we promoted the reuse of approximately 85% of water used in production processes, intensified environmental, health, and operational safety management, and invested in multiple social initiatives. Subsequently, in 2022, we launched a new operation in the city of Mariana.* *To date, our operations have generated over 1\.000 direct jobs, plus another 1\.500 indirect jobs—including transporters of our products and service providers focused on personal and professional development, health, and safety. Learn about our mission, vision, and values!* *We seek individuals who believe in the future of mining and are ready to make a difference within Cedro.* *Our goal is to conduct a streamlined selection process and choose the right people—those who wear the Cedro shirt—and encourage residents of the municipalities where we operate to join us.* **Responsibilities and Duties** Responsible for analyzing project designs for facilities and implementing safety measures aimed at reducing or eliminating workplace accident risks. * Coordination, development, and guidance of occupational safety activities; * Compliance with regulatory standards and legislation; * Development of accident prevention programs; * Inspection of facilities and issuance of technical reports; * Classification of workers’ exposure levels to potential hazards; * Creation of environmental prevention programs; * Determination of safety procedures to be followed in each department; * Production of ergonomic assessments of workstations; * Specification of required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment); * Development of ARTs (Technical Responsibility Annotations); * Conducting training sessions and lectures; * Inspection of equipment operation; * Inspection of workplace hygiene; * Guidance for establishing the CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention). **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree completed * Postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering *Cedro Mineração is a company specialized in the extraction, processing, and commercialization of iron ore—the raw material that supports production across numerous sectors of the national and global economy.
