A plasma machine operator is responsible for operating plasma cutting equipment to perform precise metal cuts and ensure final product quality.
Responsibilities of a Plasma Machine Operator
Machine Operation: The operator is responsible for operating plasma and oxy-fuel cutting machines to cut steel plates, stainless steel, and aluminum according to technical specifications.

Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare the machine for operation, perform adjustments and basic maintenance, and ensure the equipment remains in good working condition.

Drawing Interpretation: Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure cuts comply with required standards.

Quality Control: Inspect cut parts to verify compliance with specified dimensions and finishes, reporting any deviations to the production supervisor.

Work Environment Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workplace, and manage inventory of materials and consumables required for operations.
