Job Summary: Professional responsible for producing models in various materials, performing modeling, machining, and adjustments, operating conventional machines, and interpreting drawings. Key Highlights: 1. Production of wooden and PU resin models for various applications 2. Operation of conventional machines (lathe and milling machine) and manual adjustments 3. Reading and interpretation of mechanical drawings and use of measuring instruments **Job: Modeling Toolmaker** **Competencies and Responsibilities** * Produce models in various materials according to customer specifications, complying with technical standards and quality, safety, and sustainability requirements. * Perform mold modeling in wood or PU resin using hand tools and/or machines for applications in casting, manufacturing, machining, and other industrial processes. * Carry out machining and manual or machine-based adjustments, including benchwork activities. * Operate conventional machines (lathe and milling machine), performing adjustments with manual files and rotary files. * Perform operations such as cleaning, polishing, grinding, roughing, boring, milling, turning, planing, threading, bending of materials, drilling, tool sharpening, sawing, carving, stamping, engraving, and assembly of parts, according to technical requirements. * Read and interpret mechanical drawings, performing necessary calculations for model and component fabrication, adjustment, and verification. * Apply knowledge of materials, mechanical properties, hardness, standardization, and proper use of industrial tools and equipment. * Develop, when required, models, fixtures, and auxiliary tools for the process. * Work with high precision, following internal instructions and supervisor guidance. **Requirements and ExperienceEducation** * Technical course in Toolmaking or related fields (e.g., Milling Machine Operator, Lathe Operator, or Mechanical Fitter). **Experience** * Proven experience in modeling with wood and PU resin (mandatory). * Desired experience in constructing fixtures, injection molds, and stamping tools. * Hands-on experience operating conventional lathe and milling machine. * Experience performing adjustments using manual files and rotary files. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings. * Proficiency in using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc.). **Preferred Qualifications** * Knowledge of CAD/CAM software. * Experience with ultrasonic molds or automation-related industrial applications.
