So, if you wish to and believe you are qualified to prepare quotations and commercial proposals for the company’s products based on each client’s requests and needs, negotiate commercial terms, and provide daily commercial and operational support, **Responsibilities and Duties** Collect market data and import/export volume indicators for future analysis; Present the company’s portfolio of products and services to existing and prospective clients; Conduct cost assessments to support the preparation of commercial proposals; Identify potential clients and/or business opportunities, formulating proposals and quotations for clients; Participate in negotiations to secure the best rates and services for the company’s products; Negotiate foreign exchange conversion rates jointly with the Finance Department upon client request; Follow up on proposals sent to clients to facilitate their approval; Collaborate with the Pricing team to identify optimal rates, respective validity periods, routes, and freight services; Assess each client’s required lead time for their logistics process and offer suitable international import/export air and ocean freight services; Assist with clients’ multimodal logistics integration; Support the sales team by addressing client inquiries regarding processes; Track both closed and un-closed quotations, analyzing reasons to better adapt to and understand client expectations; Input approved quotation proposal data into the system; Inform the Customer Service department about new shipments, sending the shipment code and the approved quotation proposal; Monitor shipments with international partners until receipt of the shipment date information or confirmation of actual shipment; complete freight rate sheets and BIDs and forward them to clients along with agreed international freight rates and pre-agreed dates; Coordinate internally on matters of interest to clients and partners; Prepare spreadsheets to track quotations and prospecting activities; Deliver high-quality post-sales service, striving for maximum client satisfaction; Monitor market changes related to purchase/sale prices, validity periods, and freight services; Maintain contact with origin agents to request costs and fees and coordinate shipments and cargo pickups; Request the Registration Department to add new clients, update registration data, and activate clients; Gather market information to implement improved service valuation practices; Identify and propose improvements to departmental processes. **Requirements and Qualifications** Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) Experience: Minimum 6 months of relevant experience (preferred) Language: English proficiency (preferred) Preferred experience in NVOCC companies Preferred experience in Freight Forwarding companies Familiarity with **CargoWise** (preferred) Basic knowledge of **maritime, air, and road operations** (preferred) Preferred experience in International Logistics, International Trade, or Freight Agency companies Preferred experience in international cargo agency Preferred knowledge of international freight **Additional Information** Benefits: Language incentive, Medical and Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Meal Allowance, Food Allowance, Transportation Allowance / Fuel Allowance, Gym access benefit, SESC partnership, Online therapy and nutrition sessions, Birthday Day Off The Asia Shipping Group is a Brazilian multinational specializing in logistics process management for goods—both imports and exports—using multiple transportation modes including air, sea, and road.
