Network Cabling Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to join our team, responsible for installing, organizing, and maintaining network cabling infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency and compliance with technical standards. We are looking for professionals who want to be part of this team! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Install and organize network cables (UTP, fiber optic, coaxial) in offices, data centers, and other environments; * Route cables through walls, ceilings, conduits, and other spaces as required; * Crimp RJ45, SC, LC, and other connectors onto network cables; * Interpret network diagrams and floor plans to determine optimal cable routing; * Design and implement cabling infrastructure in accordance with technical standards (e.g., TIA/EIA); * Identify and label cables to facilitate future maintenance; * Use testing tools to verify continuity, performance, and integrity of installed cables; * Certify cabling installations according to specific standards (e.g., CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A); * Document test results for future reference; * Diagnose cabling system issues and perform necessary repairs; * Replace damaged or improperly installed cables; * Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of network infrastructure; * Assemble and install racks, patch panels, and other network infrastructure components; * Ensure all cables are correctly connected and managed in an organized manner; * Follow safety standards during installation, such as avoiding electromagnetic interference and fire hazards; * Ensure installations comply with local and international regulations and standards; * Stay updated on best practices and emerging network cabling technologies; * Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and project managers; * Provide feedback on installation progress and potential improvements; * Prepare installation reports and technical documentation; * Decommission connection points, including removal of cables, piping, raceways, and connectors from designated locations; * Install and maintain low-voltage electrical circuits. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed High School Education. * **Behavioral Competencies:** * Strong interpersonal skills; * Proactivity and initiative; * Organization; * Proactivity; * Teamwork; * Focus on continuous improvement. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule** * Monday to Friday, 8 hours daily from 08:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00 **Work Modality:** * On-site. **Benefits:** * Meal allowance and/or food voucher; * Transportation voucher for on-site and hybrid employees; * Sul América Health Insurance: Enjoy the peace of mind of an exclusive plan with no additional co-payment costs! * Sul América Dental Insurance with no co-payment; * Extended maternity and paternity leave; * Daycare Assistance: Financial support benefit for employee mothers and fathers with children aged 0–6 years; * Family Insurance; * Life Insurance; * Leve a Vida Leve Program: Diverse and ongoing mental health initiatives; * Acolher Program: In-house psychological support; * Professional Development: Courses and certifications facilitated by the organization; * Internal Selection Processes: Job openings exclusively for employees; * Training sessions and events for knowledge refreshment and exchange; * Partnerships with educational institutions and language schools; * Partnerships with restaurants in Curitiba/PR; * Total Pass: Access to gyms and studios nationwide; * Birthday day off; * Changing rooms and showers: For bicycle commuters or those exercising during breaks — Available at our headquarters in Curitiba/PR for on-site and hybrid employees; * Option to purchase goods via partner networks using the Cartão Qualidade (https://cartaoqualidade.ici.curitiba.org.br) — Verify availability in your region.
