**Responsibilities and Duties**
Collaborate in negotiating purchases of imported products, considering payment terms, minimum order quantities, and discounts—both for existing product lines and new developments.
Prepare statistical reports as required by departmental management.
Record cost entries into the company’s ERP system.
Analyze import documentation (PO, PI, Invoice, Packing List, AWB, BL, Certificates of Origin, etc.), informing suppliers of the required documents based on product type and intended operation.
Conduct BID processes for services contracted for import operations.
Maintain contact with overseas suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and other partners.
Provision financial expenses related to imports for cash flow control.
Update periodic reports related to purchase orders/import processes.
Monitor customs clearance procedures, ensuring all operations comply with regulations and requirements set forth by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service and other competent authorities.
Track goods in transit, ensuring delivery deadlines are met and products arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
Implement and review internal compliance policies for import operations, minimizing risks and ensuring transparency in international transactions.
Generate, monitor, and update KPIs related to departmental performance and results.
Analyze potential risks in the import process, such as exchange rate fluctuations, regulatory changes, and logistical delays.
Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure operational continuity.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory:**
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree completed in International Trade or related fields;
**Language:** Intermediate to advanced English
**Desirable:**
* Experience with Protheus ERP;
