Job Summary: Execute and monitor stages of the corn ethanol production process, ensuring continuous, safe, and efficient equipment operation, thereby contributing to final product quality. Key Highlights: 1. Support cooking, fermentation, distillation, and drying operations. 2. Perform rounds, checklists, and visual inspections while keeping the area organized. 3. Actively participate in training, drills, and continuous improvement (Kaizen). Execute and monitor stages of the corn ethanol production process (cooking, fermentation, distillation, oil separation, and drying), ensuring continuous, safe, and efficient equipment operation under direct supervision, thereby contributing to final product performance and quality. * Support cooking, fermentation, distillation, oil separation, and drying operations under supervision of the team leader or senior operator; * Perform rounds, checklists, and visual inspections while keeping the area organized and clean (5S); * Collect samples and perform simple measurements (pH, °Brix, temperature), recording data in spreadsheets or systems; * Operate pumps, valves, conveyors, and other basic equipment locally per instructions and SOPs; * Assist in equipment start-up and shutdown procedures, applying lockout/tagout (LOTO) when instructed; * Monitor process parameters and report deviations, alarms, or anomalies (e.g., leaks, unusual noises, vibrations, out-of-range temperatures) to the control room/team leader; * Organize and replenish process materials (enzymes, nutrients, antifoaming agents), verifying labels, quantities, and expiration dates; * Support moisture control during drying (DDG/DDGS) and perform simple checks on centrifuges and decanters; * Accurately complete operational reports and shift handover documentation; * Actively participate in daily safety talks (DDS), training, drills, and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen). Requirements: * Basic understanding of cooking, fermentation, distillation, oil separation, and drying processes; * Basic ability to read instruments (temperature, pressure, level, pH, °Brix); * Basic knowledge of safety and quality practices (PPE, 5S, LOTO, JSA – with internal training); * Basic computer skills (data entry and spreadsheet use).
