The **Security Guard** is the professional responsible for access control and initial security of people, vehicles, and materials at a specific location, such as companies, residential complexes, schools, or industrial facilities. **Main Responsibilities** * Control the **entry and exit of people and vehicles**. * Identify and register visitors, service providers, and deliveries. * Monitor security cameras and access control systems. * Ensure the **security of assets** and occupants of the premises. * Receive and forward mail and packages. * Guide visitors regarding internal rules and facility layout. * Report incidents or irregularities to supervision. **Common Requirements** * Completed high school education. * Relevant work experience (preferred). * Basic computer skills (for access control systems). * Good communication skills and professional demeanor. **Desired Competencies** * Constant attention and vigilance * Responsibility * Courteous customer service * Discipline and organization * Ability to act in emergency situations **Working Conditions** * Rotating shifts (day/night). * May require prolonged standing or continuous surveillance.
