Job Summary: A kitchen professional responsible for preparing meals, organizing the work environment, and adhering to good food handling practices, while collaborating with the team and contributing ideas for menu enhancement. Organization, agility, and good interpersonal relationships **Responsibilities:** * Prepare lunch, dinner, and/or snacks according to the established menu; * Organize and maintain cleanliness of the work area, utensils, and equipment; * Assist in inventory control and monitoring food expiration dates; * Follow Good Manufacturing Practices for Food Handling (GMP); * Collaborate with cooks, assistants, and other kitchen staff; * Contribute ideas to improve the menu and dish presentation. **Requirements:** * Prior experience in this role; * Knowledge of good food handling practices; * Completed elementary education (a high school diploma or technical degree in gastronomy is a plus); * Organization, agility, and good interpersonal relationships; * Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Technical or vocational training in gastronomy; * Knowledge of regional/international cuisine; * Experience handling large volumes and buffet service.
