Job Summary: The Loading and Unloading Assistant is responsible for assisting with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring organization and safety throughout the process while adhering to safety regulations. Operation of cargo handling equipment (if certified) The Loading and Unloading Assistant is responsible for assisting with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring organization and safety throughout the process. Performs operational tasks in compliance with established procedures and safety regulations. * Assist with loading and unloading of goods following received instructions. * Organize and sort products according to the specifications of each load. * Conduct goods verification, checking quantities and conditions. * Maintain workplace organization, cleanliness, and safety. * Operate cargo handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when required and duly certified. * Collaborate with the logistics team to meet deadlines and achieve established goals. * Report any issues or irregularities identified during the loading and unloading process. * Follow safety regulations and procedures to ensure personal physical integrity and that of other employees. * Maintain updated records and documentation as required by the company. * Participate in training and capacity-building activities related to loading and unloading operations.
