Job Summary: We are seeking an innovative and goal-oriented Quality Engineer to develop and monitor processes, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement in the automotive industry. Does this sound like you? **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes on the production line; * Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949\); * Analyze failures and non-conformities, proposing and tracking corrective and preventive actions; * Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and suppliers to resolve issues; * Conduct internal and external quality audits; * Monitor and analyze quality-related performance indicators (KPIs); * Apply quality tools such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP, 8D, among others; * Participate in continuous improvement projects (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma); * Prepare technical reports and process documentation. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive, or related fields); * Prior experience in Quality within the automotive industry is a plus; * Knowledge of quality standards (IATF 16949 will be considered a plus); * Experience with quality tools (FMEA, MASP, SPC, etc.); * Experience in vehicle assembly processes is a plus. * Intermediate or advanced English proficiency; * Willingness to work on-site in Camaçari\-BA. **Additional Information** At BYD, we prioritize the well-being of our employees and continuously strive to enhance our benefits package.
