Strategic involvement in the logistics chain **Job Description:** ---------------------- **This position is also inclusive for persons with disabilities (PCDs).** Responsible for coordinating Operations activities, monitoring employee productivity using operational tools, providing feedback, performing departmental administrative operations, analyzing discrepancy reports, evaluating safety conditions for personnel and equipment involved. Compliance with applicable safety and quality standards, ensuring excellence and quality across the entire logistics chain. **Requirements** -------------- **What are the requirements?** * Completed or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree * Experience in Logistics * People management experience * Full availability for shift work **Responsibilities** --------------------- **Your main responsibilities will include:** 1. Conduct daily briefings with the team; 2. Comply with and ensure compliance with current HSE and Quality policies and regulations; 3. Delegate tasks to assistants and the movement team; 4. Ensure and monitor volume delivery as well as the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) indicator, and develop action plans for losses; 5. Ensure consistent use of PPE and safe working conditions; 6. Ensure implementation of 5S on production lines; 7. Ensure rotation of staging areas; 8. Ensure achievement of KPIs agreed upon with the client; 9. Provide feedback to team members; 10. Clock out/in via ADP system; 11. Reinforce OMS culture; 12. Practice and promote continuous improvement with the team; 13. Conduct Critical Analysis meetings with Production Control Assistants and support areas; 14. Guide team on client-specific standards; 15. Lead and develop the team; 16. Ensure adherence to customer/DHL operational system procedures and processes; 17. Monitor operational flow, correcting and guiding assistants and operators in cases of doubts or non-conformances; 18. Report accidents and incidents per safety procedures; 19. Actively participate in inventory activities, resolving line reporting issues; 20. Coordinate stock/receiving and loading of empty pallets. 21. Monitor and ensure support area activities; 22. Direct the team to execute tasks with quality and accuracy. 23.
