Register now and join our team! **Responsibilities and duties** As a **Mechanical Technician**, you will: * Inspect Fire Protection and Suppression Systems (FPSS); * Check column and wall hydrants; * Assess integrity of hoses, nozzles, and valves; * Verify cabinets, covers, seals, and identification markings; * Test valves and flow rates where applicable; * Evaluate system pressurization and return functionality. * Individually inspect sprinklers for paint condition, obstructions, corrosion, and missing nozzles. * Verify pressure, seals, and INMETRO certification labels on fire extinguishers; * Check supports and mounting fixtures; * Validate accessibility and signage. * Identify failures, propose solutions, and recommend corrective actions. * Prepare detailed technical reports documenting irregularities and recommendations. * Use digital tools for control and documentation: o Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word). o SAP system for creating work orders, allocating labor hours, reviewing work order backlogs, attaching OM’s and reports. * Define deadlines for corrections and monitor implementation of corrective actions. **Requirements and qualifications** Required education: * Technical course in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
