Registration of new suppliers and quotations A civil construction company located in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre is seeking a Procurement Assistant. REQUIREMENTS Currently pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields; Relevant experience in the role; Proficiency in Excel; Organizational skills and attention to detail; Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team; KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the buyer in departmental activities, including: Preparing reports and spreadsheets for negotiations; conducting supplier market research for products and services to identify optimal purchasing opportunities; Negotiating with suppliers; issuing purchase orders; tracking orders to ensure on-time delivery; Updating supplier merchandise price lists and internally disseminating this information to relevant departments; Registering new suppliers for inquiries and quotations as needed; and other duties pertinent to the role.
