Job Summary: We are seeking an Automation Assistant to support the technical team in the operation and maintenance of automated systems for HVAC, lighting, and security. Key Highlights: 1. Assistance in remote operation and on-site technical support We are looking for an **Automation Assistant** to join our outstanding Energy and Automation team! Work scope primarily involves supporting the technical team in operating and maintaining automated systems that control site equipment, such as HVAC, lighting, and security. **Responsibilities and Duties** * System Monitoring: Continuously monitor and oversee the performance of building automation systems using supervisory systems and their graphical interfaces. * Alarm Management: Identify, analyze, and log alarms or anomalies in systems, escalating to the field maintenance team when necessary to resolve issues. * Service Ticket Handling: Manage the opening, tracking, and closure of service and maintenance requests (corrective and preventive) via a dedicated tool. * Operational Support: Assist in remote system operations, such as switching lighting circuits on/off, adjusting temperature and ventilation parameters, and configuring comfort/efficiency profiles according to site requirements or predefined schedules. * Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of operational activities, incidents, performed maintenance, and energy consumption in spreadsheets and management systems. * Communication: Serve as the interface between operations, the maintenance team, and, in some cases, site teams, ensuring effective communication regarding system status. * Technical Support: Provide basic on-site technical assistance, including routine inspections, simple sensor and equipment testing, and calibration under supervision by a technician or specialist. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical education in Electrotechnology, Industrial/Building Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields is a plus. * Intermediate computer skills, including operating systems and spreadsheet software (Excel). * Ability to manage priorities, proactively identify issues, and maintain organized, auditable information. * Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and communicate clearly. * Availability: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including 24/7 operations. **Additional Information** Location: Porto Alegre What excites you?
