We are seeking a General Services Assistant (ASG) for furniture stores to join our team in Mossoró\- AL. Position Summary: The General Services Assistant is responsible for ensuring maintenance and organization of the furniture store, guaranteeing that the environment remains consistently clean, safe, and pleasant for both customers and staff. The professional performs diverse tasks involving cleaning, organization, support in layout modifications, and assistance in daily operations. Responsibilities: Perform daily cleaning of internal and external store areas, including floors, windows, display cases, and furniture exhibition areas. Maintain restrooms and common areas in appropriate hygienic conditions. Remove trash and recyclable materials in accordance with established regulations. Monitor and report infrastructure maintenance or repair needs within the store. Assist in organizing and arranging inventory and furniture exhibition areas. Adjust store layout according to product display requirements and special promotions. Ensure all products are arranged attractively and accessibly for customers. Assist with furniture deliveries and pickups when necessary, ensuring safe transportation of items. Assist in furniture assembly and disassembly as required. Support promotional events and in-store merchandising activities. Ensure adherence to all safety procedures to prevent accidents and damage. Maintain store compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Collaborate effectively with the sales team and other departments to meet store and customer needs. Report any issues or requirements to the supervisor or store manager. Requirements: Completed elementary education. Prior experience in similar roles will be considered an advantage. Basic maintenance skills and ability to use tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays if required. Proactivity and initiative in problem-solving. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Customer orientation and commitment to service quality.
