




Job Summary: Ensure safety and inclusion for students with Specific Educational Needs by mediating their academic demands to support full development and learning. Key Highlights: 1. Collaborate with the pedagogical team and external specialists Ensure effective safety and inclusion for students with Specific Educational Needs through mediation of individual academic demands with teachers and peers, thereby enabling conditions for their full development and learning within regular educational settings. * Monitor academic needs of learners with disabilities, atypical development, specific educational needs, and/or complex challenging behaviors, and mediate accordingly. * Assist learners in carrying out pedagogical activities and other routine school tasks. * Encourage independence in activities the learner can perform autonomously. * Mediate interactions with peers and teachers. * Monitor the learner’s preferences and maintain a positive relationship with the child. * Attend periodic meetings with the pedagogical team. * Attend meetings with parents and external specialist professionals. * Follow instructions provided by teachers, coordinators, educational guidance staff, and school leadership. * Follow instructions provided by external professionals supporting the child. * Implement activities outlined in the Individualized Plan. * Collaborate with teachers in teaching skills. * Consult the pedagogical team whenever uncertain about how to intervene with the learner. * Report to the Case Manager any difficulties encountered in implementing procedures or managing the child’s behavior. * Report to the Case Manager any changes in the learner’s behavioral pattern. * Assist in assessing the learner’s individual needs. * Record daily behavioral observations and performance data across various routine school activities. * Complete documentation forms and share them in the child’s digital folder, as directed by the Case Manager. * Share relevant information for preparing school reports. * Prepare adapted materials under the guidance of the pedagogical team (e.g., printing and laminating images). * Review weekly and annual lesson plans. * Organize the classroom environment to ensure availability of necessary materials for implementing intervention procedures and collecting data. * Take photos and videos of potential materials requested by the Case Manager. * Re-read minutes generated from guidance meetings and complete agreed-upon tasks before subsequent meetings. * Ensure availability of required time slots to fulfill this role. * Guide the learner in organizing personal belongings and self-care activities to foster independence. * If needed, accompany the learner to the restroom and assist with hygiene. * Help organize the classroom after activities. * Supervise the learner during arrival, recess, and dismissal, as required by individual needs. * Immediately inform the teacher if the learner presents diaper rash, insect bites, scratches, malaise, illness, dental issues, etc. (photographs may be taken if necessary).
