Job Summary: A Carpenter performs carpentry services on civil construction projects, fabricates and installs wooden formwork, assembles and disassembles formwork, shoring, and scaffolding, and interprets technical drawings. Fabricate and install wooden formwork for concrete casting of structures. Assemble and disassemble formwork, shoring, and scaffolding. Interpret technical drawings and structural designs. Cut, size, and prepare wooden components according to specifications. Previous experience as a Cabinetmaker, Wood Structure Builder, Furniture Assembler, or Wood Specialist may indicate alignment with some duties of this position. High school diploma required.
