We are looking for a professional to fill the role of Occupational Safety Technician II. **Let’s transform collaboration into results—together?** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Activities to be performed:** * Assess changes in work environments and processes through technical inspections and documentary analysis, aiming to identify, classify, and mitigate occupational risks; * Analyze occupational risks and propose corrective and preventive actions based on detailed technical assessments, aiming to prevent accidents and incidents; * Plan and conduct safety audits using standardized checklists, ensuring compliance with applicable Regulatory Standards (NRs); * Investigate serious and potentially serious accidents through evidence analysis, interviews, and investigation methodologies, aiming to identify root causes and define action plans; * Specify, assess, and validate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), based on technical and regulatory criteria, ensuring suitability for performed activities; * Evaluate and review safety programs such as PEC and PMS through structured technical analysis, aiming to strengthen preventive management; * Analyze safety reports from distribution companies through data consolidation and critical evaluation, identifying patterns, deviations, and recurrences; * Participate in Safety Committees, providing technical input for proposing structural improvements and strengthening safety culture; * Assess requirements for fire and panic protection systems through technical analyses, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; * Train distribution company technicians on applying checklists and audit procedures, promoting standardization and inspection quality. **Requirements and Qualifications** **REQUIRED EDUCATION:** Technical Course in Occupational Safety, with active registration at the competent authority **COURSES AND SPECIALIZATIONS:** Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Humanities or Exact Sciences fields is desirable, preferably in Occupational Safety Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related areas; **Technical Competencies:** * Experience implementing, managing, and monitoring Occupational Safety Management Systems in operational environments; * Experience conducting safety audits, technical inspections, and investigating serious and fatal accidents using structured methodologies; * Experience in occupational risk analysis and implementation/management of mandatory programs such as PPRA/PGR, PMS, and PEC; * Experience specifying, assessing, and approving Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), in compliance with technical and regulatory standards; * Solid knowledge of labor legislation and Regulatory Standards (NRs), with emphasis on NR\-10 (Electrical Installations and Services Safety), NR\-35 (Work at Heights), and NR\-06 (PPE); * Knowledge of preparing technical reports, defining and tracking corrective and preventive action plans, and applying root cause analysis methodologies; * Knowledge of fire and panic protection systems, including applicable technical and regulatory requirements; * Knowledge of auditing methodologies, developing technical checklists, and monitoring safety performance indicators (KPIs). **Additional Information** **Why Apply:** By joining Grupo Equatorial, you become part of a growing company with a culture that values continuous development, talent diversity, and commitment to the future.
