If this resonates with you, register now and join our team.*** **Responsibilities and Duties** ✓ Conduct occupational and pre-employment medical examinations for candidates applying for positions coordinated under the PCMSO; ✓ Perform workplace visits and inspections to assess worker protection and proper use of safety equipment; ✓ Conduct medical examinations to confirm or rule out occupational diseases; ✓ Provide urgent care for work-related accidents or acute health conditions, including guidance, referrals, and/or appropriate therapeutic interventions; ✓ Attend employees requiring care at the flu syndrome outpatient clinic, indicating diagnostic tests and monitoring their health status; ✓ Propose measures to enhance workplace safety and correct environmental hygiene hazards; ✓ Conduct educational studies and campaigns aimed at reducing occupational accidents and diseases; ✓ Collect statistical data and compare outcomes across different phases of educational campaigns to assess effectiveness; ✓ Study the relationship between work and disease, and propose measures based on findings to make work a factor of balance; ✓ Clarify medical reports for stakeholders; ✓ Request, analyze, and interpret results of complementary examinations and diagnoses; ✓ Classify degrees of occupational hazard or danger in collaboration with occupational safety engineers to implement appropriate actions; ✓ Clarify and advise workers regarding diagnosis and prescribed medications; ✓ Supervise, guide, and conduct worker education campaigns to reduce occupational accidents and diseases; ✓ Issue reports and expert opinions on matters within the scope of occupational medicine; ✓ Submit periodic activity reports; ✓ Conduct health surveys among workers and suggest improvement measures; ✓ Maintain confidentiality of all activities inherent to the position, reporting relevant information or news to the immediate supervisor when necessary for hospital operations; ✓ Submit semiannual activity reports for review; ✓ Participate in protocol development; ✓ Adhere to ethical principles during all professional activities; ✓ Participate in collegiate bodies upon request, contributing to discussions and resolutions; ✓ Assist in gathering information, monitoring, and achieving sectoral action plan indicators and targets; ✓ Fulfill institutional requests to serve as Preceptor, Tutor, Lecturer, and/or Coordinator in teaching activities; ✓ Participate—alongside the multidisciplinary team—in meetings, committees, health surveillance programs, biosafety, hospital epidemiology, and accident prevention initiatives, contributing as required within professional competencies; ✓ Support hospital coordinations on matters related to occupational medicine, presenting and discussing solutions to problems and irregularities to inform decision-making and continuous process improvement; ✓ Participate in developing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), applying them daily; ✓ Participate in or facilitate Permanent Education activities as needed, per institutional policy, within professional scope; ✓ Safeguard materials and equipment under personal responsibility to extend their useful life; ✓ Perform duties observing occupational safety requirements, correctly using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all tasks, complying with current legislation and institutional regulations; ✓ Support the immediate supervisor on matters related to occupational medicine, presenting and discussing solutions to problems and irregularities to inform decision-making and continuous process improvement; ✓ Perform other related duties of equivalent complexity upon request from the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications** 1- Completed Medical Degree; 2- Specialist Certification in Occupational Medicine (RQE) issued by the Regional Medical Council or proof of application for such certification; 3- Professional experience as an Occupational Physician in healthcare services is preferred; 4- Proficiency in operating integrated hospital management systems Tasy and Sênior is desirable. **Additional Information** Working hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, 2:00 PM–8:00 PM (18 hours/week); Monthly salary for a 90-hour workload (18 hours/week): R$ 8.183,50; Meal/food allowance at on-site cafeteria: monthly contribution of R$ 20.00 for employees working over 6 hours per day; Food Card valued at R$ 220.00/month + extra credit upon return from vacation; It has 460 beds—including 80 ICU beds—and 16 operating rooms. HMDCC specializes in clinical, surgical, and stroke emergency and urgent care, with regulated and referred admissions managed by the Belo Horizonte Municipal Health Secretariat’s Hospital Admission Center. We are also a reference for the Belo Horizonte SUS network and for Minas Gerais State in high-complexity care across the following specialties: internal medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, neurology, and urology.
