Working with internet, TV, and telephony technologies **Job Description:** This professional is responsible for installing, operating, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on telecommunications systems and equipment. They are qualified to install and repair internet, TV, and telephony networks and equipment, among others. They provide on-site technical support for customer and company equipment, troubleshoot faults, lay cables and install equipment, all in compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental preservation standards and strategies. **Job Responsibilities:** * Install, maintain, and repair fiber-optic networks (indoor and outdoor). * Lay cables and install equipment on utility poles, buildings, rooftops, ceilings, and towers, in accordance with technical and safety standards. * Respond to customer service orders, adhering to scheduled appointments and deadlines. * Perform technical diagnostics, identify faults, and implement corrections on networks and equipment. * Install and configure broadband internet, TV, and other services offered by the company. * Create user accounts and configure networks according to technical standards. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on company and customer equipment. * Provide on-site technical support, clarifying customer inquiries and offering appropriate solutions. * Record and close service requests with clear and concise information in internal systems. * Use corporate and operational tools and systems in accordance with internal policies and procedures. * Operate company vehicles for transportation and external service delivery. * Strictly comply with quality, occupational safety, PPE usage, and environmental guidelines. * Perform other duties related to the position as directed by the immediate supervisor.
