Job Summary: Responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and maintaining a reliable, secure, and scalable network infrastructure, serving as the technical authority for networking topics. Participation in all phases of network projects Responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and maintaining a reliable, secure, and scalable network infrastructure to support local business operations and critical IT/TO environments at the mine site. This role works closely with corporate IT teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards, architectures, cybersecurity requirements, and governance. This position serves as the primary local technical authority for networking-related topics, supporting operational stability, local projects, and corporate initiatives. **100% on-site work in Paracatu/MG.** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Design, implement, and maintain the local network infrastructure supporting data, voice, wireless, and IT/TO environments, in compliance with corporate IT standards. * Configure, install, and support network and voice equipment—including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points—primarily in Cisco environments. * Monitor network performance, capacity, availability, and security, proactively identifying issues and implementing improvements to ensure stability, scalability, and resilience. * Participate in all phases of local and corporate projects—including design, implementation, testing, and post-deployment support. * Support change management processes, ensuring minimal business disruption during network changes and maintenance. * Serve as the primary local technical interface for corporate IT teams on networking topics. * Coordinate with network vendors and service providers regarding equipment deployment, lifecycle management, and issue resolution, validating technical deliverables against requirements and standards. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, operational standards, risks, and incident response processes. * Ensure compliance with corporate policies, cybersecurity requirements, and industry best practices. * Identify opportunities for local-level performance optimization, reliability improvement, and cost efficiency. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * **Fluent English** * Cisco CCNP Enterprise certification (or equivalent experience). * Experience managing and supporting enterprise network environments in large organizations. * Strong expertise in networking protocols and technologies, including STP, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP, IP SLA, RADIUS/TACACS+, Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, fiber-optic and microwave networks, and DNS. * Solid experience with Cisco wireless, voice, and data center technologies. * Experience with network monitoring and performance analysis tools. **Additional Information** **Salary + Benefits** * Health insurance (co-payment); * Dental insurance (co-payment); * PR – Profit sharing; * Private pension plan; * Life insurance; * Meal allowance; * Transportation allowance; * School supply kit; * Christmas kit; * Counseling program.
