Managed by a multi-family administration, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise and collecting payments; performing cash withdrawals, closing the register, and preparing end-of-shift financial reports. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cash register, adhering to protocols, rules, regulations, and established standards; scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, verifying product labels, checking scale weights and system matching; processing payments—including verifying prior authorization and making proper endorsements on the back when accepting checks—and authenticating cash when receiving payments; Ensure cash withdrawals during working hours and proper register closing, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing and submitting reports to the Supervisor and/or depositing funds into the safe or 24-hour cash box—thereby preventing excessive exposed cash accumulation and ensuring accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving targets of ongoing campaigns by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly informing the Supervisor for corrective action; Help reduce front-end cash register losses through preventive actions such as minimizing bag waste, deterring theft, and expediting returns of perishable goods, etc. Maintain the workplace and equipment in optimal condition and cleanliness, and request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with packing and organizing merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks whenever necessary, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift wrapping, etc. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** R.
