Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following established protocols and standards, scanning merchandise and collecting payments. Key Highlights: 1. Under multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cash register operations and customer service, adhering to protocols, rules, regulations, and pre-established standards; scanning merchandise and collecting payments; performing cash withdrawals; and closing and reconciling daily cash transactions at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the cash register by following protocols, rules, regulations, and pre-established standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting code tables; checking product labels, scale weight, and system matching; processing payments; verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back when accepting checks; and verifying banknote authenticity when accepting cash; Ensure cash withdrawals during the shift and proper cash register closure, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, and delivering it to the Supervisor and/or depositing it into a safe or 24-hour cash box to avoid excessive exposed cash and ensure accountability; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly informing the Supervisor for corrective action; Contribute to reducing front-end losses by proactively minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, expediting returns of perishable goods, etc. Maintain the workstation and equipment in perfect working and clean condition; request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist in sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, product pricing and expiry date verification, gift packaging, etc. Requirements **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Anfilóquio Nunes Píres, 4242 \- Bela Vista / Gaspar \- SC Working Hours: 4:00 PM to 10:20 PM **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefit Program Retail Store Purchase Discount Program Life Insurance Performance Bonus Attendance Bonus * Position available for Persons with Disabilities (PwD)
