**Brief Description:**
Prepares structural components; assembles, installs, and repairs metal structures. Performs productive maintenance. Organizes the workplace to execute tasks in compliance with technical, quality, safety, and environmental preservation standards and procedures.
**Job Mission:**
Execute the assembly of metal structures by joining, fixing, aligning, and installing metal components according to technical drawings, safety regulations, and leadership instructions, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity in service execution.
**Activities and Responsibilities:**
Assemble metal structures at construction sites and industrial facilities
Interpret assembly technical drawings
Assemble beams, columns, trusses, supports, and platforms
Perform fastening using bolts, nuts, washers, and anchor bolts
Assist in positioning components using cranes, mobile cranes, or hoists
Perform alignment and leveling of structures
Work at heights using personal protective equipment (PPE) and lifelines
Use manual and electric tools
Comply with occupational safety regulations
Follow instructions from foremen/supervisors
Maintain equipment and tools
Assist in loading and unloading materials
Perform tasks according to the project schedule
Maintain workplace organization
Support welding teams when required
Identify hazards and report them to leadership
Follow company and client procedures
Collaborate with other assemblers as part of a team
Daily Activities:
* Field assembly of metal structures
* Tightening of structural bolts
* Use of grinders, drills, impact wrenches, and hammers
* Use of full-body harnesses
* Work on scaffolds and elevated platforms
* High-altitude assembly
* Assistance in component lifting operations
* Dimensional verification
* Site cleaning and organization
* Manual handling of components
**Job Requirements:**
Education
* Completed elementary education (preferred)
* Secondary education (preferred)
Experience
* Experience in metal structure assembly
* Experience in industrial projects or metal construction
* Experience working at heights
Mandatory Courses (preferred / as per company requirements)
* NR-35 — Working at Heights
* NR-18 — Construction Industry
* NR-06 — Use of PPE
* NR-12 — Machine Safety (where applicable)
* Metal Assembly Course (preferred)
* Platform / PTA Course (preferred)
