Job Summary: A Speech-Language Pathology Intern will assist in assessment and intervention processes, applying methods and techniques under professional supervision. Key Highlights: 1. Perform internship activities within the Speech-Language Pathology service, assisting in the execution of assessment and intervention processes by applying methods and techniques under the supervision of a qualified professional. **Responsibilities and Duties** Assist in the assessment of individuals and implementation of the intervention plan. * Support the development of necessary and adapted materials for clinical sessions. * Develop and update various spreadsheets. * Report any significant changes in patients' behavioral patterns to the Supervisor/Therapist. * Collaborate with other professionals in developing and implementing therapeutic programs and supporting specific groups. \- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings focused on analyzing client progress and adapting the intervention plan when necessary. \- Organize and archive departmental documents. * Interact with other departments to ensure service quality. * Provide information to internal and external clients ethically, efficiently, and promptly, strengthening relationships among stakeholders and enhancing the company's image. * Safeguard, maintain, preserve, and clean work equipment, tools, and materials. * Comply with good practices, safety standards, and procedures. * Attend scheduled training and development programs. * Adhere to regulations and procedures regarding uniform use, personal protective equipment, timekeeping, working hours and shifts, vacation schedules, etc. * Report any irregularities or suspected fraud to management. * Inform management about actions and activities carried out within the assigned area. * Perform other related duties as required by the operational unit, nature of work, and location/subsystem, per superior instruction. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements:** * Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Speech-Language Pathology program (must be in at least the 4th year). **Desirable Requirements:** * Completion of courses in Child Development and Assessment Methods and Techniques. * Additional training in PECS, ABA, TEACCH, Audiology, and Oral Motor Skills. **Additional Information** Unimed is the world’s largest healthcare cooperative and also the largest medical assistance network in Brazil, present in 83% of the national territory.
