




Job Summary: This role involves comprehensive front-desk duties including patient reception, administrative support, and coordination within a laboratory setting. Key Highlights: 1. Laboratory administrative organization and support \- Receive and make internal and external phone calls, forward them to the intended person, clarify inquiries (without interpreting reports), and take messages when necessary; \- Provide Skype support to employees, clients, and supported laboratories; \- Greet visitors, identify their purpose, and direct them to the appropriate laboratory department; \- Prepare quotations both in person and via telephone or email; if uncertain, contact management; \- Receive patients and register them accurately and completely in the system with courtesy and kindness; \- Process health insurance authorizations in the system; \- Verify procedure coverage with the health insurance provider; \- Record the health insurance card number and authorization number; \- Always obtain the patient's signature on the requisition form to confirm service delivery; \- Provide each patient with a service confirmation receipt; \- Ask and inform whether the patient is taking medication that may affect test results; \- Instruct patients regarding fasting requirements, service hours, and proper collection methods for urine, stool, semen, and saliva samples, and provide the corresponding containers; \- Clearly and objectively inform patients of the actual testing turnaround times without promising unrealistic deadlines; \- Schedule tests; \- Politely, courteously, and attentively guide patients to the sample collection area; \- Politely, courteously, and attentively guide patients to the breakfast area; \- Verify requisition forms and authorizations; \- Organize and maintain a clean and orderly reception area; \- Organize and archive documents for easy retrieval; \- Shred paper waste; \- Provide support/assistance upon request; \- Receive patient samples and forward them to the technical department; \- Collect payments from patients for tests; \- Receive materials and reagents and verify their expiration dates and usability; \- Transcribe and print reports; \- Request report release when instructed; \- Wear the complete uniform and keep it clean and presentable; \- Request sample recollection when necessary; \- Deliver correspondence to the respective recipients; \- Treat supervisors, directors, superiors, and colleagues with courtesy, respect, and professionalism; Employment Type: Full-time CLT Salary: R$1\.700,00 \- R$1\.755,31 per month Benefits: * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance Experience: * Customer Service (Preferred) Work Location: On-site
