Process Operator II

Description

Prepare machines, equipment, and materials for the plant's mineral processing operations. Monitor all activities in the mineral processing operation according to procedures and comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Operate the mineral processing system, strictly adhering to and complying with all procedures; * Analyze operational parameters. * Ensure the scale, walkways, protective grates on conveyors, and moving parts are clean; * Verify that all equipment—including feeders, grizzlies, hoists, scrapers, aligning idlers, and crushers—is in perfect working condition; * Monitor flotation operational parameters, as well as feed particle size distribution and pH; * Understand, monitor, and adjust operational parameters in the mineral processing plant (grinding, crushing, intensive leaching, CIL, sampling); * Inspect mineral processing machines and equipment; * Request maintenance for machines and equipment; * Feed all mineral processing systems; * Control ore particle size; * Monitor production capacity; * Analyze production orders; * Control raw material intake and output; * Clean machines and equipment for maintenance; * Adjust machines and equipment as needed; * Maintain machines and equipment in a safe operating condition; * Identify bottlenecks during production; * Clean walkways and platforms; * Support other operational areas. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education. * Experience and knowledge of Plant Mineral Processing—grinding, crushing, intensive leaching, CIL, sampling. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Driver’s License Category B. **Additional Information** * Meals provided at the company * Company transportation * Life insurance * Health plan * Dental plan * Meal allowance * Housing assistance * Christmas basket * Daycare assistance * PRL (Occupational Risk Prevention) At P.A.
