Description: Education/Experience * Elementary school – 5th to 8th grade. * Driver’s license category B – desirable. * Experience operating sprayers for more than three crop seasons. Specific Knowledge/Skills * In-depth knowledge of sprayer operation and maintenance. * Completion of a pesticide application technology course. * Inspect machinery conditions prior to work execution. * Inspect implements to be attached. * Use required personal protective equipment (PPE), according to the type of machinery and service to be performed. * Operate tractors for grain seeding operations, activating necessary controls to perform assigned tasks. * Operate tractors coupled with small trailers for cleaning or loading various types of products. * Operate tractors coupled with Columbia units for washing machinery and implements. * Operate agricultural machinery for soil preparation and application of fertilizers and soil amendments. * Perform minor maintenance tasks, disassemble components and tires, assist in servicing planters and implements. For major repairs, report defects or required repairs to the maintenance department. * Clean fields and premises, removing objects to be transported on the small trailer. * Operate tractor-mounted, uniport, and/or self-propelled sprayers. * Receive instructions from supervisors and exchange information regarding tasks and incidents to ensure workflow continuity. * Assist in cleaning machinery. * Perform other duties related to the position and/or as directed by immediate supervisor. 2512070202191909369
