Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and operational Pedagogical Analyst to support the training initiatives of Creative Schools, with a focus on designing, developing, and facilitating formative processes for educators. Key Highlights: 1. Strategic and operational involvement in educator training. 2. Pedagogical design, facilitation, and follow-up of training programs. 3. Collaboration with Education Departments and institutional partners. **Decoding Potentials**, a hub for people management and culture solutions, supports **Creative Schools** in conducting this selection process. **ABOUT THE CREATIVE SCHOOLS INSTITUTE (CSI)** Creative Schools is a non-profit civil society organization whose mission is to strengthen public education networks and train and engage educators in adopting pedagogical approaches that promote students’ holistic development — such as Creative Learning — thereby creating school environments where students want to be and learn. Launched in 2021 as an educational program, Creative Schools has already reached over 1 million students and 58,000 teachers across 16 education networks throughout Brazil. We work in partnership with governments, school administrators, and teachers to adapt this concept to the Brazilian context, incorporating the principles of Creative Learning into the curriculum and the public education system — from educational policy formulation to teacher training. Our approach is structured around three main levers of change: * Support for Education Departments: assisting in developing systemic structures to transform schools, and creating durable, sustainable public policies that consolidate implementation learnings. * Professional development and pedagogical tools: training educators to design learning experiences that foster student agency. * School and school community engagement: engaging the school community, establishing and nurturing communities of practice, and training local multipliers to promote a self-sustaining, enduring movement within their operational territories. About the Position We seek a Pedagogical Analyst to work strategically and operationally within the training division of the Creative Schools Institute, with a primary focus on designing, developing, facilitating, and qualifying formative processes targeting trainers, teachers, and administrators in public education networks — especially in Lower Secondary Education — aligned with the Creative Learning approach. This person will play a central role in the pedagogical design of training programs, facilitation of formative sessions, and follow-up of proposal implementation with partner networks, also serving as a technical-pedagogical reference in dialogue with public authorities and institutional partners. **Priority hiring for Black and Brown candidates** Key Responsibilities * Support planning and development of the full training cycle (diagnosis, pedagogical design, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation). * Facilitate in-person and online training sessions for trainers, teachers, and public administrators. * Develop training plans, learning pathways, content, and educational resources for formative processes. * Support the conception, development, and implementation of events, meetings, and campaigns, in both in-person and digital formats. * Contribute to the creation, adaptation, and qualification of educational content and resources used in training programs. * Ensure the pedagogical quality, relevance, and appropriateness of training programs and resources for diverse target audiences. * Monitor implementation of formative processes within education networks, proposing continuous adjustments and improvements based on evaluations, feedback, and qualitative data. * Coordinate and supervise the work of partners and service providers involved in training activities and educational resource production. * Engage with technical teams at Education Departments to support the development of training strategies aligned with public policies. * Identify emerging trends, research, and innovative practices in education to continuously enhance CSI’s formative proposals. Requirements * Proven experience with active methodologies and Creative Learning, including: * + Teaching practice + Development of educational resources + Designing and facilitating teacher and trainer training programs * Demonstrated teaching experience. * Proven experience as a teacher trainer. * Experience with Primary and Lower Secondary Education (with emphasis on Lower Secondary). * Proven experience engaging with public authorities (Education Departments, technical teams, administrators). * Familiarity with digital tools and virtual learning environments. * Willingness to travel. * Intermediate or fluent English — preferred. Education and Technical Knowledge * Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy, Teacher Education, or related fields. * Prior experience in similar roles, with a portfolio of developed training programs, projects, or materials. * Proficiency in formative planning and teaching-learning methodologies. * Familiarity with educational trends, research, and technologies. * Postgraduate degree in Educational Technologies, Active Methodologies, Teacher Training, or related fields — preferred. **Knowledge of accessibility in formative processes and adaptation of materials — preferred.**
