If you identify with our purpose, let’s together imagine a future—and engineer it? **Responsibilities and Duties** **Summary Description:** Oversee and execute inspection, supervision, and monitoring activities related to contracted processes, in accordance with internal procedures and current safety standards, to contribute to meeting the defined schedule. **Detailed Description:** * Support routine management by acting as responsible for executing the performance evaluation, inspection, and audit meeting schedule; * Monitor and control refractory application scheduling (lining, repair, and demolition) to meet production needs and priorities regarding equipment availability; * Monitor and control Impeller, Snorkel, Lance, and other molded parts production at the Molded Parts Plant to ensure inventory meets the production plan; * Provide technical support and oversight for torpedo car heater maintenance activities (refractory, mechanical, and COG gas system cleaning); * Monitor and control torpedo car heating, ladle distributor drying, and steel ladle lid drying activities; * Provide technical support and oversight for converter lining process (refractory maintenance campaign); * Manage refractory inventory, spare parts for converter refractory maintenance equipment, slide gate mechanisms, metallic items from the Molded Parts Plant, and other areas under the Refractories Management, including planning material procurement to build safety stock jointly with the Procurement team; * Manage operational area refractory inventory, monitoring and controlling consumption and replenishment to generate data enabling material procurement planning; * Perform material reservations, purchase orders, and assess material quality on basic aspects such as expiry date, cracks, damage, etc.; * Conduct surveys and collect performance data on applied refractories to provide information enabling analysts and specialists to perform process evaluations and developments; * Monitor and control KPIs and PIs within your area of responsibility, taking corrective actions if targets are not met and proposing improvement actions for indicators; * Monitor results of quality tests (mechanical and physical testing) conducted at the Molded Parts Plant laboratory; * Weekly update of control and verification items (KPIs and PIs) in the Refractories Management indicator tree; * Participate in development projects for new materials, new suppliers, new refractory application methods, and new equipment, overseeing and monitoring tests to generate data enabling technical analysis by analysts and specialists supporting this area; * Support the development, evaluation, and consensus of experimental plans for new materials, suppliers, refractory application methods, and new equipment; * Support critical analysis of change management processes jointly with Refractories Management analysts; * Notify external providers of deviations in the refractory application process and material quality deviations, informing the contract’s operational management responsible; * Support preparation of the Refractories Management weekly performance report (quality, safety, environment, and costs); * Control and monitor refractory material costs within your area of responsibility; * Support the Procurement team in auditing refractory material inventories supplied across areas; * Control adherence to the Refractories budget (Materials and Services); * Participate in developing, updating, and reaching consensus on operational standards; * Attend trainings and seminars provided by the company to acquire skills and increase customer value delivery; * Drive improvements in procedures and activity execution (lean thinking); * Facilitate relationships between third-party contractors and end customers; * Collect field data and activity information for indicator reporting. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Basic Requirements:** * Completed technical education; * Intermediate proficiency in MS Project, Office Suite, and Power BI; * SAP proficiency; **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with refractories; * Experience in steelmaking; * Advanced proficiency in MS Project and SAP;
