Job Summary: The Nursing Unit Coordinator plans, systematizes, and delivers nursing care while supervising the team and ensuring patient quality and safety in alignment with institutional values. The Nursing Unit Coordinator is responsible for planning, systematizing, and delivering nursing care—including supervision of nursing technicians assigned to their respective shift and of hospitalized patients—with the aim of ensuring quality and safety at Mãe de Deus Hospital and Santa Ana Hospital, always in accordance with the Institution’s Mission, Vision, and ethical, moral, and human values grounded in those of the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo Scalabrinian. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Ensure monitoring and care for hospitalized or oncology treatment patients through care planning and prevention, implementation of nursing systematization, supervision of activities, and management of the nursing team under their responsibility; * Guarantee execution of procedures exclusive to and the responsibility of the nurse, through application of nursing techniques and supervision of complex invasive procedures performed by physicians. * Lead the nursing technician team during their shift, including staff training, conducting meetings, using system tools (attendance tracking, scheduling, and vacation management), managing dismissals, farewells, recruitment, and selection processes, performance management, and guidance on nursing activities related to curricular internships—as well as planning, executing, and participating in scientific activities, training, and unit research; * Preserve patient integrity by adopting and complying with quality and safety processes, professional ethics, institutional protocols, technical operational procedures (TOP), health surveillance, and monitoring of clinical and outcome indicators; * Ensure nursing documentation through reporting of care actions and nursing procedures, daily verification of prescriptions from the multidisciplinary team, evaluation and archiving of documents, and supervision of information entered by nursing technicians; * Provide patients and families with information regarding nursing procedures and care through targeted guidance, communication with patients and families, and health education and training techniques. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Nursing; * Specialization / postgraduate degree in the relevant sector/area is desirable; * Experience in the relevant sector/area is desirable; **Additional Information** **Benefits:** * Unimed Health Insurance (per institutional policy); * Bradesco or Unimed Odonto Dental Insurance (per institutional policy); * Bradesco Life Insurance at no cost to the employee; * On-site cafeteria; * Transportation allowance; * Daycare assistance at partner daycare centers or reimbursement for daycare at other facilities; * Mental health teleconsultation services, extended to family members; * Panvel Pharmacy partnership; * Birthday day off (per current policy); * Discount on Open English English courses (per institutional policy); * Discount on technical courses, undergraduate degrees, and MBA programs (per institutional policy).
