Mirandex began its journey in mid-1994 as a distributor of Brasil Vidros de Rondônia, operating in the distribution of flat glass and common glass. In 1998, demand for tempered glass emerged in the state — at that time still a novelty. Since then, we began reselling tempered glass produced in major industrial centers across the country. Rising demand, procurement and transportation difficulties, and extended delivery lead times inspired us to establish our own manufacturing facility. Thus, in 2000, we inaugurated our tempered glass factory — the first in the state of Rondônia — equipped with a vertical tempering furnace. As market demand continued to grow, customers required new products and faster delivery. To meet this need, in 2002 we took a major step forward by acquiring a horizontal furnace based on American technology, enabling faster and higher-quality glass production.
