




**MISSION** Ensure that the mechanical equipment at the mineral processing plant operates reliably, safely, and efficiently, using advanced analytical methods to predict and prevent failures, optimizing maintenance processes. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Align maintenance department activities with the production guidelines and targets of the complex; * Monitor contract execution; * Supervise maintenance activities and provide technical guidance to the team; identify opportunities for design improvements; * Develop and evaluate management indicators to achieve higher reliability and lower costs; * Monitor the progress of institutional programs; * Participate in planning maintenance activities and the annual shutdown program; * Assess the team’s technical capabilities and eliminate skill gaps; * Identify resources required to enhance the team’s technical development as well as maintenance services; * Interface with various departments across the company; * Conduct technical-economic feasibility studies for equipment and projects; * Periodically assess alignment with the Maintenance Management System (SGM) structure; * Pursue maintenance modernization through market-available innovations; * Monitor contracting of maintenance-related services and construction works, as well as procurement and inventory systems; * Develop new maintenance materials and technologies; * Actively participate in major shutdown activities, identifying improvement opportunities both in equipment and products; * Support the PCM team in preventive and predictive maintenance plans; * Actively participate in predictive maintenance planning, analyzing reports and interfacing with scheduling to correct potential deviations; * Prepare monitoring and control reports; * Deliver technical training tailored to the operational team’s needs; * Analyze equipment failures and propose solutions; critically evaluate maintenance outcomes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence; * Ensure compliance with applicable legislation. **TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES** * Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics; * Experience in maintenance areas within gold mining or similar plants; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate to Advanced); * Driver’s License Category B. **BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES** * Values safety and risk management behavior; * Interpersonal skills; * Comfortable asking questions and expressing opinions in multidisciplinary environments involving management teams; * High and focused energy directed toward continuous improvement; * Proactively engages with other departments without resistance; * Logical reasoning, organization, initiative, dynamism, flexibility, teamwork, communication, relationship-building ability, critical and systemic thinking, focus on workflows and procedures, analytical capacity, leadership, and persuasion.
