Interested in a career that delivers greater returns? **Check out this opportunity and \#JoinPagBank!** **Responsibilities and duties** * Design, evolve, and evaluate the architecture of our **AI agents** and the microservices supporting them, ensuring technical coherence and alignment with business goals. * Translate business needs into technical solutions by proposing new modules, new agents, or optimizing existing ones. * Build and evolve the **agent evaluation framework**: defining quality metrics, golden datasets, offline and online evaluation, LLM-as-judge, behavioral regression testing, and A/B testing of prompts and models. Evaluation is how we use data to decide whether an agent version is ready for production. * Ensure **agent reliability and security in production**: guardrails, hallucination handling, and observability of execution (not only deployment pipelines), with every response traceable and auditable. * Participate in **prompt governance** and the agent evolution lifecycle (versioning, validation, safe rollout). * Guarantee end-to-end automation—from testing to deployment—with genuine observability in production. * Optimize resource usage and cost—including **inference/token costs** (AI FinOps)—by building tools and routines that reduce waste. * Collaborate with the security team to ensure platform compliance and reliability. * Serve as a technical reference and active agent in the team’s continuous improvement (mentoring, code reviews, sharing best practices). **Requirements and qualifications** * Solid experience with **Java** and the **Spring ecosystem** (Boot, Web, Data, Cloud). * Real-world experience with **microservice architecture** and distributed systems. * Experience with **containers (Docker) and Kubernetes**. * **Relational databases (SQL)** and **non-relational databases** (MongoDB, DynamoDB or similar). * Experience with **asynchronous messaging** (at least one of: Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS). * Hands-on experience with **public cloud**, preferably **AWS**. * Consistent practice with **automated testing** and **DevOps/CI-CD culture**. * Strong fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, concurrent programming, object-oriented design, design patterns, and REST/JSON integration. * Experience with **agile methodologies** (Scrum, Kanban).
