Procurement process optimization and cost reduction. **Job Description:** ---------------------- Responsibilities: Perform quotations and negotiations for materials, services, and supplies, focusing on large volumes. Contact and negotiate with major suppliers of industrial materials. Conduct freight quotations and contracting, evaluating routes, delivery timelines, transportation modes, and costs. Arrange rentals of houses, vehicles, machinery, equipment, and other infrastructure required for construction projects across different states. Purchase PPE, uniforms, tools, and various operational supplies. Develop, update, and evaluate suppliers based on performance, delivery timelines, quality, tax compliance, and reliability. Analyze technical and commercial proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements and internal policies. Issue purchase orders, submit them for approval, and monitor delivery schedules. Support procurement planning for construction projects and initiatives, coordinating closely with engineering, HR, finance, and operations teams. Identify tax implications related to interstate purchases and contracted services. Ensure suppliers meet tax requirements, including submission of correct documentation for withholdings, deductions, or credits. Verify applicable tax benefits and regimes, contributing to more economical and secure purchasing decisions.
