Feel free to register for all available positions that interest you; however, we recommend completing one application process before starting another. **Responsibilities and Duties** **JOB MISSION:** Deliver and prepare course teaching materials for undergraduate programs according to previously distributed guidelines and content; administer exams; develop in-class assignments; and clarify students' doubts. **MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:** Develop the course lesson plan — including content and methodology — observing the syllabus outlined in the pedagogical plan and submitting it for approval by the Course Coordination. Deliver classes according to the specific teaching plan to foster student learning. Maintain updated attendance records for students in class. Assess student performance through development and administration of specific evaluation tools and pedagogical follow-up, ensuring students acquire the skills and competencies required by the pedagogical plan. Prepare, administer, and grade assessments, returning results to students. Record and publish assessment results, adhering to the academic calendar. Keep the class register updated with all required entries. Follow the discipline’s bibliographic references defined by the Teaching Faculty and suggest alternative references. Participate in course faculty meetings to improve the pedagogical project. Supervise undergraduate thesis projects when assigned. Stay current on pedagogical practices. Engage in research and/or extension activities related to one’s field of expertise, as well as serve on committees and evaluation panels when assigned. Maintain academic/scientific output aligned with the program’s guidelines. Attend scientific events related to one’s area of expertise to disseminate knowledge and acquire new information. Report to the Course Coordination and students on the progress of pedagogical activities and any incidents (conduct, procedures, and attendance) concerning the institution and the course taught. Participate in the Teaching Faculty when assigned, fulfilling all duties inherent to the role. Stay updated on institutional documents. Promote and uphold the Institution’s Code of Ethics; comply with and enforce decisions made by faculty councils and the Academic Unit’s Directorate, as well as the Institution’s guiding principles — vision, mission, and values. Attend departmental meetings and other administrative meetings (e.g., Undergraduate Course Council; Postgraduate Course Council; committees to which the faculty member belongs, etc.). Attend research group meetings to discuss projects, articles, and research progress. Prepare lessons, grade exams and student assignments. Develop proposals for funding calls (e.g., project financing; scholarships; travel grants, etc.) and prepare specific analytical reports. Write articles, books, and book chapters; submit them for publication and revise them. Review articles upon request from scientific journals. Prepare abstracts for submission of proposals to present papers at conferences and other scientific events. Prepare lectures, conferences, and panel discussions for presentation at conferences and other scientific events, and attend such conferences and events. Serve on master’s dissertation and doctoral thesis qualification and defense committees, both within the institution and at external institutions outside one’s city. Properly utilize systems and resources provided by the Institution to perform one’s duties, in accordance with established norms and procedures.
