The **B2C Squad** is responsible for developing and evolving the subscription platform that supports the acquisition, authentication, and subscription management journey—ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. Here, we value proactive, collaborative, curious, and results-oriented individuals who want to grow within a dynamic, innovative environment deeply connected to the market. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Your day-to-day will include:** * Developing and maintaining backend APIs and services in Java and Python, ensuring performance and scalability for digital subscription acquisition and checkout flows; * Building integrations between internal and external systems—including payment gateways and authentication providers—to ensure seamless communication and correct operation across services and applications; * Implementing automated tests and conducting code reviews to ensure quality; * Collaborating with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver consistent and scalable features; * Applying best practices for version control, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines; * Supporting junior developers on a daily basis by sharing development best practices; * Contributing improvement suggestions for microservice architecture and backend solutions—with a focus on performance and checkout funnel conversion. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What Grupo RBS expects from you:** * Solid programming experience with Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python (Flask); * Experience with REST APIs and integration with external services (e.g., payment gateways, authentication providers); * Practical experience with microservices—including deployment and event integration; * Practical experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and/or Python packaging tools (pip, Poetry, virtualenv); * Solid experience using Git and source code versioning; * Experience with relational and non-relational databases—including data modeling and query optimization; * Knowledge of cloud computing (preferably GCP); * Familiarity with Docker; * Experience with caching and messaging systems: Redis (caching and Streams/PubSub), RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Google Cloud Pub/Sub—including publish/subscribe patterns and asynchronous processing. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes); * Experience with CDN, load balancing, and caching; * Experience integrating with financial systems/payment gateways and/or banking APIs. **Additional Information** **Internal candidates must apply by 08/10/2026.** **At Grupo RBS, we offer (CLT):** On-site cafeteria or meal/food allowance (depending on work model: remote, hybrid, or in-office) Health insurance Transportation allowance or parking Private pension plan Profit-sharing program Extended maternity and paternity leave TotalPass Access to Uniglobo—a training platform provided by TV Globo for affiliates Digital subscription to GZH Membership in the Subscriber Club, offering exclusive discounts and benefits across categories such as gastronomy and entertainment Opportunity to join ARBS (Grupo RBS Employees’ Association), providing various partnerships and discounts **RBS is made of people.** With nearly 70 years of history, we connect daily with 11 million residents of Rio Grande do Sul, delivering information, services, and emotion through TV, radio, digital platforms, and print journalism.
