Feel free to register for all available positions that interest you; however, we recommend completing one application process before starting another. **Responsibilities and Duties** **JOB MISSION:** Deliver and prepare course teaching materials for undergraduate programs according to previously distributed guidelines and content; administer exams; conduct in-class assignments; and clarify student doubts. **MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Develop the subject’s lesson plan—including content and methodology—while adhering to the curriculum outlined in the pedagogical plan, and submit it for approval by the Course Coordination. \- * Deliver lectures according to the specific teaching plan to foster learning. * Maintain updated attendance records for students in class. * Evaluate student performance through the development and administration of specific assessment tools and pedagogical follow-up, ensuring students acquire the skills and competencies required by the pedagogical plan. * Prepare, administer, and grade assessments, returning results to students. * Record and publish assessment results, complying with the academic calendar. * Keep classroom log entries updated. * Follow the subject’s bibliographic reference list defined by the Teaching Faculty Group and suggest alternative references. * Participate in course faculty meetings to refine the pedagogical project. * Supervise undergraduate thesis projects when assigned. * Stay current on pedagogical practices. * Participate in research and/or extension activities related to one’s field of expertise, as well as committees and evaluation boards, when assigned. * Maintain academic/scientific output aligned with the program’s guidelines. * Attend scientific events related to one’s field of practice to disseminate knowledge and acquire new information. * Report to the Course Coordination and students on the progress of pedagogical activities and any incidents (conduct, procedures, and attendance) concerning the institution and the subject taught. * Participate in the Teaching Faculty Group when assigned, fulfilling duties inherent to the role. * Stay updated on institutional documents. * Promote and uphold the institution’s code of ethics; comply with and enforce decisions made by faculty councils and the leadership of one’s Academic Unit, as well as the institution’s guiding principles—vision, mission, and values. * Attend departmental meetings and other administrative meetings (e.g., Undergraduate Course Council; Postgraduate Course Council; committees to which the faculty member belongs, etc.). * Meetings with the research group to discuss projects, articles, and research progress. Prepare lectures, grade exams and student assignments. * Develop proposals for funding calls (e.g., project financing; scholarships; travel grants, etc.) and produce specific analytical reports. * Write articles, books, and book chapters; submit them for publication and revise them. Review articles upon request from scientific journals. * Prepare abstracts for submission of proposals to present papers at conferences and other scientific events. * Prepare lectures, conferences, and roundtable discussions for presentation at conferences and other scientific events, and attend such conferences and scientific events. * Serve on master’s thesis qualification and defense committees and doctoral dissertation defense committees, both within the institution and at external institutions outside one’s city. * Properly utilize systems and resources provided by the institution to carry out work, per established norms and procedures. * Be knowledgeable of and comply with norms, procedures, or work instructions defined by Quality, Environmental, Occupational Safety, and Occupational Health Management Systems, as applicable to one’s area of activity, as established by the institution or current legislation. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field and postgraduate studies (Master’s and/or Doctorate). **Computer Skills:** Microsoft Office Suite. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** As per academic timetable. **Benefits:** * Medical Assistance, * Dental Assistance, * Pharmacy Benefits, * Study Grants, * Total Pass, and * Life Insurance.
