Feel free to register for all available positions that interest you; however, we recommend completing one application process before starting another. **Responsibilities and Duties** **JOB MISSION:** Deliver and prepare teaching materials for undergraduate courses according to previously distributed guidelines and content; administer exams; conduct in-class assignments; and clarify doubts. **MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:** Develop the course syllabus—covering content and methodology—while adhering to the pedagogical plan’s syllabus, and submit it for approval by the Course Coordination. Deliver classes in accordance with the specific teaching plan to foster learning. Maintain up-to-date attendance records for students in class. Assess student performance by designing and administering specific evaluation instruments and providing pedagogical follow-up, ensuring students acquire the skills and competencies required by the pedagogical plan. Prepare, administer, and grade assessments, returning results to students. Record and publish assessment results, complying with the academic calendar. Keep the class register updated. Follow the discipline’s bibliographic references defined by the Teaching Staff Core and suggest alternative references. Participate in course faculty meetings to refine the pedagogical project. Supervise undergraduate thesis projects when assigned. Stay current on pedagogical practices. Participate in research and/or extension activities related to one’s field of expertise, as well as serve on committees and evaluation panels when assigned. Maintain academic/scientific output aligned with the course’s guidelines. Attend scientific events related to one’s area of expertise to disseminate knowledge and acquire new information. Report progress and issues (e.g., conduct, procedures, attendance) concerning pedagogical activities, the institution, and the taught discipline to both the Course Coordination and students. Participate in the Teaching Staff Core when assigned, fulfilling duties inherent to the role. Stay updated on institutional documents. Promote and uphold the institution’s Code of Ethics; comply with and enforce decisions made by faculty councils and the Academic Unit’s leadership, as well as the institution’s guiding principles—vision, mission, and values. Attend departmental meetings and other administrative meetings (e.g., Undergraduate Course Council; Postgraduate Course Council; committees to which the faculty member belongs, etc.). Attend research group meetings to discuss projects, papers, and research progress. Prepare classes, grade exams and student assignments. Draft proposals for funding calls (e.g., project financing; scholarships; travel grants), as well as produce specific analytical reports. Write articles, books, and book chapters; submit them for publication; and revise them. Review articles upon request from scientific journals. Prepare abstracts for submission of proposals to present papers at conferences and other scientific events. Prepare lectures, conferences, and roundtable discussions for presentation at conferences and other scientific events, and attend such conferences and events. Serve on master’s dissertation and doctoral thesis qualification and defense panels, either within the institution or at external institutions outside one’s city. Appropriately use institutional systems and resources for work, per established norms and procedures.
