Whether via the app or directly in the building, the best solutions are always close by, ready to surprise you. **As a Junior Backend Developer, your challenges will include:** * Developing and maintaining backend APIs and services using Node.js and Golang * Writing clean, testable, and well-documented code in TypeScript and Golang * Writing unit tests * Modeling and maintaining data structures in PostgreSQL and MongoDB * Integrating internal and third-party services and APIs * Supporting application deployment and operations on GCP * Participating in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices * Monitoring production services, identifying and resolving bugs and performance bottlenecks * Collaborating with the team on architecture discussions and continuous improvements **To succeed in this role, you should have:** * Knowledge of at least one backend programming language * Understanding of REST APIs * Familiarity with relational databases and SQL * Code versioning experience with Git * Eagerness to learn and work in cloud environments * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team **You’ll impress us even more if you have:** * Experience or academic background with Node.js and/or Golang * Knowledge of NestJS * Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) * Familiarity with GCP * Understanding of containers (Docker) and CI/CD * Knowledge of automated testing best practices **Benefits for you:** Porto Seguro health insurance (co-payment plan) for you and your dependents — taking care of what truly matters. * Wellhub (formerly Gympass) or Total Pass: Access to partner gyms and studios, ensuring quality of life and well-being for you and your family.
