* Operate distillation column via electronic control panel and on-site. * Conduct alcohol content analyses of anhydrous and hydrated alcohol. * Compare laboratory analyses to prevent yield loss. * Perform cleaning in the distillation area. * Collect ethanol samples for laboratory analysis and obtain distillation results. * Perform ethanol storage maneuvers by operating valves and verifying alcohol content using a densimeter. * Dose chemical products into sampling tanks. * Prepare chemical product (caustic soda) sent to distillation columns for cleaning (descaling) and for controlling pH, acidity, and conductivity of distilled ethanol. * Assist with preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance. * Continuously monitor distillation columns to detect leaks and correct them by tightening flange bolts, thereby preventing productivity losses. * Conduct periodic verification of alcohol content in production. * Verify volumes in the fermented wine surge tank and ethanol metering tanks. * Monitor parameters of fermenters, centrifuges, and all other equipment. * Start up and shut down distillation and dehydration equipment; perform fusel oil washing and storage; assist with other tasks as required. * Use PPE specified for the role and work area. * Maintain a clean and organized workplace, adhering to safety and quality standards. * Assist industrial maintenance teams during off-season periods under the coordination and guidance of technical professionals or the department’s immediate supervisor, performing mechanical maintenance tasks such as general valve repair, general assistance, plumbing assistance, painting, plumbing, or welding. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Mastery of the distillation process. * Constant attention to laboratory results. * Knowledge in the field of chemistry. **Requirements and Qualifications** Experience: One year of experience.
